Storage and expiry date

Media in tubes should be stored at temperature of 6-25ºC. Expiry date for most media in tubes: 12 months from the date of production.

Limitations regarding expiry date

The following media have a 6-months expiry period: Selenite F broth, Fraser and Semi Fraser broth, Mueller Kauffmann with novobiocin and tetrathioniate, Medium with 10% lactose, Rappaport–Vassiliadis broth, Sabouard Dextrose agar with benzylpenicillin and tetracycline, Wilson Blair agar, Peptone water with lactose
