Media on Petri dishes

Remember to store the media on Petri dishes at the temperature 6-12ºC, for periods depending on the medium composition. Media containing blood can be stored for 45 days from production date, standard media without supplements - for 3 months. Exceptions in storage periods: MRSA Agar - 30 days, mFC Agar and Bismuth Sulfite Agar - 21 days. Each package contains 10 plates.

During storage avoid exposure to light, high temperature and humidity.

Some media, like Endo Agar, Bismuth Sulfite Agar and chromogenic media, are extremely sensitive to light.
